Disability Support Services
FamilyCare - Disability Support Services are funded to provide respite to carers and parents of children and young people aged from birth to 25 years, with a disability in the west Hume region of Victoria. There are offices in Shepparton, which covers the Greater Shepparton, Moira and Strathbogie regions: and Seymour which covers the shires of Mitchell and Murrindindi.
Disability Support Services provides support to families and carers of children and young people with a disability or disabling chronic health condition. Services include emotional support, education and information, therapeutic programs for children and young people, and referral to other specialist services.
Disability Support Services also offer a range of respite options and recreational opportunities. Programs include school holiday and after school care, camps, and weekend programs.

Eligibility for our programs is set in accordance with the Disability Act 2006.
Referrals can be made to our program by a family member, medical or health care professionals, other agencies or schools.
