Families First & PASD Worker
Shepparton – Full Time

This position works in both Families First and Parenting Assessment Skill Development. This role requires someone with suitable qualifications and experience, having worked with infants, children and young people at risk. The successful applicant will provide intensive in-home family intervention to work with families to address identified protective concerns and enhance family functioning.  This position works collaboratively with the Child Protection Unit.

Child FIRST Intake Worker 
Shepparton - Full Time

Child FIRST is the initial point of referral for Child and Family Services. The successful applicant will require excellent listening and assessment skills.  This is a key point of entry to FamilyCare and requires an individual motivated to get an accurate assessment of client needs whilst showing empathy and compassion.
Appropriate qualifications and experience working in the Child and Family Service sector are required.

Child and Family Worker
Full Time

 Positions available for Child and Family Workers in both the Shepparton and Seymour offices. Child and Family Workers are part of the Integrated Family Service. This team works directly with children and families to enhance family, child and young peoples health and wellbeing, to prevent child abuse and neglect and to support the family through major life transitions and times of difficulties. A range of approaches from brIef, early intervention and prevention, through to more intensive long term support are provided to assist families to develop or enhance their ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Tertiary qualifications in either Social work or other tertiary qualification relevant to Social Welfare practice is required. Experience working in the Child and Family Service sector would be an advantage.

Early Years Cradle to Kinder Worker
Shepparton - Full Time

This position requires a person who is either a trained Children Services Worker, Registered Nurse/Mothercraft Nurse or alternatively a tertiary qualification in Social Work or Welfare. It is essential that the successful applicant have previous experience in the field and an understanding of the issues related to families. This program works with families where the children are up to 18 years of age and provides support to enhance family, child and young peoples wellbeing.
