We are seeking a suitable applicant for this leadership position in our Child and Family Services’ team. 

 

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  •  Qualifications and experience in social welfare practice
  •  Leadership and management experience
  • A demonstrated understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
  •  Highly developed written and oral communication skills.

Family Violence Reform Project Worker

Full time (Negotiable)

12 Month Contract

 

This is a new role, developed in response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence (RCFV) and reports to the Goulburn Family Violence Executive Committee.

This is a readvertised position.

 

The successful applicant will be required to have:

 

·     A Qualification/Experience relevant to Social Work or Community Development

·     A sound understanding of the structural and theoretical issues surrounding Family Violence

·     Experience in communications and stakeholder relations/engagement

·     Highly developed written, interpersonal and public speaking skills including a demonstrated ability to work productively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

·     An understanding of current State Government  processes, priorities and major Departmental initiatives
