The successful applicant will be required to:
- Have an understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and Child Wellbeing Act 2005;
- Have high level of understanding of early childhood development and factors that can impact on a child's development;
- Have an ability to undertake project development and implementation;
- Demonstate an ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders;
- Have an ability to provide high level advice and recommendations to early years services in relation to engaging vulnerable children and families;
- Provide advice to family services in relation to interventions and advocacy required to address early childhood developmental needs
- Have excellent written and communication skills;
- Have highly developed ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Show strong interpersonal skills, effective analytical and problem solving skills.
