The facility has been established primarily to support primary carers of people who are frail aged or have a permanent or ongoing disability.
In certain circumstances and following assessment the facility may also be available to carers of children or elderly people who usually reside outside the Shepparton area and are accessing health services in the Shepparton area.
The house is for short-term use only, as negotiated with the Carer Support Co-ordinator.
Carers utilizing this facility must be self-caring and not suffering from serious medical problems as the house is not staffed.
In the interest of co-residents, no guests, visitors or pets are permitted.
